Frequently Asked Questions
What are the biggest benefits of PNF assisted stretching?
PNF (propreoceptive neuromuscular facilitation) helps to increase flexibility & range of motion, also enhancing
muscular strength & efficiency which all help to improve our mobility.
Great mobility often reduces pain & can correct muscular imbalances we create in our day to day life.
Does stretching like this hurt?
Nope! It shouldn't. "No pain no gain" simply does not apply here. With our communication
throughout the session you should feel pretty comfortable during your stretch. You'll likely feel more tension or tenderness in
some areas, but pain is not the goal! After your first couple of stretches you might feel a healthy soreness
much like you worked out, because you did! Consistency is the key.
Do we really need to stretch?
Everybody needs to stretch! Even our pets do it many times a day. Recovery is a crucial part of movement. Think about all the repetitive activities we do - we drive, sit over computers & phones, play sports, lift & hold kids on our hips, have an active job or love to lift weights. Stretching is for all of us! Movement is life & range of motion is so important to maintain for a life that feels better.

Will I feel an immediate difference?
Just like anything else we have to get good at, consistency is key! However, one of my favorite parts about assisted PNF is the immediate difference you feel from the way you walked in to the way you walk out, even DURING your stretch. After several sessions you'll begin to see the benefits of consistency.

What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes that you can be stretched in.
Avoid tight & restrictive clothing such as jeans or dresses.
***Don't forget a fresh pair of socks!
(Service upgrade charge of $5 for a fresh pair to be provided)
Why the need to bring a fresh pair of socks?
Feet are the foundation of our bodies & they do not go ignored here!
Socks create a better grip for me while also protecting from scratching or slipping when they're
put in certain positions along the table or myself. If you prefer to not have your feet worked
on (wouldn't recommend skipping!), socks are still required.

How do I pay?
Sessions are paid for at the time of service. I accept both credit & debit cards (with a processing fee), as well as cash, Zelle, Apple Pay & through payment apps such as Venmo & CashApp. Considering gratuity? Gratuity is never expected but always appreciated -much like in any service-based profession! Any generosity is valued & helps to further support the work I love to do.
Do you ever have any specials or discounts?
Definitely! Check out the 'SPECIALS' tab or follow along on Instagram @stretchandflexaz to see all the ways you can stretch your dollar while getting to feel your best!
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, I am currently a private-pay practice & do not work directly with insurance. I strive to provide transparent pricing & flexible options making my services accessible & am happy to provide a detailed receipt of services provided to you upon request.
Can I bring my little ones?
An opportunity to take some time for YOU, stretch&flex is located inside a professional office building without extra room in studio to have any littles hang out with us -but we can definitely talk about them & the crazy things they've said lately!
